Usually nothing goes as waste in indian houses.
So that falls true in my case. I always enjoy using left over dals of last night as parathas in breakfast or in lunch.
last evening brown mug dal was left in good quantity. I feel bad in throwing things away so i took the blender and blended it in thick paste.
see it will be like this – a thick paste. a perfect blend of spices and salt.
i made dough out of them – just dal – sweet corn flour- wheat grain flour.
i am putting both the parathas. one made on tawa and one made on grill. d grill one is more crunchy and less oiled. its flavor is a bit smoky like tandoor. tawa paratha is easier and quicker. if made in nonstick tawa then in 1 spoon ghee 3 parathas can be made.
along with chikoo milk shake – dal paratha – dahi and fruits. a whole-sum breakfast to keep me full for half a day.
