many of m friends know i fast on fridays. so in that situation i prefer broken wheat khichdi.
Anyways i have switched to broken wheat by replacing rice in the afternoons.
I prepare broken wheat in many ways. one of the type is khichdi and trust me i can make atleast 15 types of broken wheat khichdi with diff. combinations.

broken wheat – half cup ( for 1 person)
green chilli 1
red chilli powder
ghee – 1 spoon
