Chicken soup is my fav. of all my recipes. it takes 15 mins to cook it.
Chicken soup is one of the ultimate comfort foods. Many of us turn to a bowl of piping hot chicken soup to warm us up on a chilly evening or to make us feel better when we’re sick. A chicken soup recipe is also a great way to turn leftover chicken into a second meal.
for 4 people
Chicken (cut small pieces) 9 pieces
1 green capsicum,
cabbage – as per taste
garlic cloves 5
carrot – half
baby corn finely chopped
coriander leaves as per taste
Take a pressure cooker, put all the vegetables and chicken in the cooker. Add 1 litre water. or add water as per the thickness /soup liquid you need. Add 1/2 table spoon oregano, salt and pepper as per taste.
Put it to boil. After 2 whistles, lower the flame and let it cook for 10 to 13 mins.
after 13 mins – increase the flame, let the pressure cooker whistle once. And the healthy tasty chicken soup is ready to eat. My brother adds a bit of soya sause or may be butter sometimes. But with butter or without butter it takes yummy.
