Climate plays an important role when it comes to weight loss, nutrition and health in general.
Water intake in bodies vary due to their body type and climate. Yes! there are other factors but body type and climate affects the most compared to other factors. Water is an important factor as water make 75% of any healthy body.
Body Type : Kalph – Vaata- Pitta equally plays an important role to determine food type that suits individual body.
For eg. Kalph body type people – mostly don’t like drinking water they end up saying “i dont like taste of normal water”. Generally they end of drinking either warm water or coffee or tea or any other liquid instead of water.
– Now water is water, we cant drink lemon water to and say we had water.
Remember ” taste changes – nutritional properties of the food changes too”
Similarly – For Vaata body type – they don’t like drinking hot water unless and until they are a combination of Kalaph – Vaata.
Both the categories end up drinking no or less water during monsoon seasons in Bangalore.
Because of low water intake the digestion process and health is affected over all. In case of low intake of water Kalaph people face constipation problem while for Vaata people low intake of water may lead to gas and headache.
Pitta bodies love Bangalore Climate, in general their water intake is high and in general they feel hot most of the time. Bangalore climate is apt for Pitta bodies. But Bangalore Monsoon is tricky for Pitta people – as in a day we experience 3 climates. As a result even their water intake reduces.
When water intake reduces for Pitta bodies in monsoon – it leads to severe dehydration and constipation.
Its really important for Pitta and combination of Pitta bodies to drink water constantly rather hourly in Monsoon Season in Bangalore to avoid dehydration, restlessness and uneasiness in breathing.
Most people ask me about different diet plans, routines, diet patterns, etc. and I still stand on my suggestion: ” In India we belong to the tropical zone for us our food is the best that suits us and our climate. We are puri paratha people and we need to learn to maintain our weight eating ghee, butter, sweet, banana and carbs in general.”
